Childcare Assistance Program (CAP)
Program Overview
What is CAP?
The Childcare Assistance Program (CAP) is a scholarship program administered through the Office of Child Care & Family Resources. This reimbursement program provides scholarships to assist student parents with their child care expenses while they are attending Iowa State University. Students may be awarded up to $750 per academic semester. Only one award per family, even if both parents are ISU students.
Who can apply?
All student parents are encouraged to apply, regardless of classification: undergraduate, graduate, professional/Veterinary Medicine, international, special students, and students enrolled less than full time. Once funds are depleted, a waiting list will be kept in the event additional funding is received.
