Assistance for Child Care Expenses

  • State of Iowa Child Care Assistance (CCA) Program

    The State of Iowa Child Care Assistance (CCA) Program is available to the children of income-eligible parents who require child care services due to employment or education (undergraduate students only). CCA is administered by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services and provides payment for child care services directly to the child care provider.

  • Dependent Care Assistance Program

    Employees have the option to contribute a portion of their earnings to a Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) account on a pre-tax basis. By doing so, you may save from 25-40% on eligible dependent care expenses you are already incurring.

  • Adoption Assistance Plan

    For eligible staff and faculty, ISU's Adoption Assistance Plan provides reimbursement for all or a portion of the eligible expenses resulting from the adoption of an eligible child.

  • Tuition Reimbursement Program

    For Merit and Professional & Scientific Staff, this program provides reimbursement for qualified educational expenses and successful completion of undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate courses taken at Iowa State. The program helps to defray the cost of tuition up to a maximum of four (4) college credits for courses offered by Iowa State University (ISU).
