Parenting Student Resource Pantry
The office of Child Care and Family Services at Iowa State University is committed to supporting the health and wellness of pregnant and parenting students at ISU. We know that material items are essential to being a caregiver and impact the success of parenting students and additionally, can be a large household expense. While we may not have all items needed, our hope is to ease a small financial burden with the items we provide so families can use their funds for other academic and parenting necessities.
Our Parenting Student Resource Pantry is available to currently enrolled ISU students who are pregnant and/or parenting young children and offers a variety of free items parents typically need on a regular basis. Actual items in stock will vary based on availability but include:
- Diapers (sizes and brands may vary)
- Baby wipes (brands may vary)
- Formula (unopened and brands may vary)
- Baby care such as shampoo baby lotion, baby bath/body wash, diaper rash products
- Toddler Snacks
- Paper products such as Kleenex and paper towels
- Hand soap
- Menstruation Supplies
- Children’s books
- Sunscreen (seasonally available)
- And more!
If you are interested in supporting the Parenting Student Resource Pantry, we have a variety of items listed on our Amazon wish list. Diapers and wipes are provided with support from ISU Student Government and GPSS.
**PLEASE NOTE** The pantry will closed until Thursday January 9, 2025.
Spring 2025 Semester Hours (January 9 - May 15) will be Mondays 10:00 am - 3:00 pm and Thursdays 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. We will be closed Monday January 20, and March 17 - 21, 2025.
Please email ccfamily@iastate.edu with any questions or to schedule a time to visit if the times above do not work for you. Hours and availability will change each semester and items available are dependent on current supply. While we will try to remain fully stocked, there may be times we are out of certain items. Children are welcome in our space! Please do not leave children unattended in vehicles while visiting the pantry.
